Why Digital Wins Every Time!

Tell me, have you ever tried sketching while travelling, attending insightful events, or meeting with a client? If so, you know that every minute counts, and sometimes we just grab the nearest pen to start drawing without wasting a second. But what if you have too many pencils, or worse, not enough for your brilliant ideas? That can be a distraction to your creative flow and will stand for mediocrity.

This is why digital wins every time.

Moreover, it's just not practical to use traditional materials as they require a CONSTANT investment to maintain your creativity. Free yourself from dependency on the corporate world of art supply stores! Am I being too radical?

I DON’T THINK SO.

Let me share my experiences. This March, I started my journey with abstract painting. In less than a month, I spent as much as a new iPad Air costs just to have enough materials to paint with. And it's only been A MONTH!! Yes, I know abstract painting isn't the same as interior or exterior sketches, but still.

Another example you can relate to: last year, during my trip to Cannes, I brought along over 150 pencils, and oh boy, did I regret it. At the airport, while rearranging my carry-on bag, all the pencils spilled out onto the floor! AT THE AIRPORT!!!

After such embarrassing and frustrating events, I'm grateful to the creators of the iPad and Procreate for bringing such a lifesaver to life! Procreate is the drawing app where I work my magic.
