The Problem Isn’t Ideas - It’s Freedom

Apr 02, 2025

Today, my mission is simple: to make you fall even MORE in love with your iPad (and digital drawing in general). Because honestly, it has the magic power to unfreeze your creativity and let your boldest, deepest ideas shine - without limits. And I’ve got the proof.

This is my newest moodboard featuring iconic furniture, developed and drawn entirely from scratch on my iPad👇

And… here’s the catch - I’m turning it into a fine art print, around A3 size!! GENIUS, right?! If that’s not real art - giving you a totally free playground for your ideas - then I don’t know what is!

And YES, this collage is, of course, just one of many steps toward bringing my bigger vision to life (which I shared in my last newsletter - you can catch up HERE). I also posted the progress over on my Instagram. It’s slow, messy, sometimes uncomfortable… but always moving toward those big creative dreams.

And now - back to drawing, before I start rambling about things totally unrelated to this newsletter 😉

LISTEN, when you're traveling, on holiday, or just taking a break, your digital sketchbook should be your best friend. That’s how I ended up sketching in the middle of the mountains with my iPad mini. And honestly… I could NEVER, in a million years, allow myself to go this bold with colors on paper (and I’ve been drawing on paper for over 20 years!).

At first, I kept it safe with a simple green color scheme. But then I thought - why am I limiting myself?! And I let loose. I went all in. Suddenly, what started as a tiny sketch turned into a full-sized (A3) artwork full of energy.

You can even turn your sketches into personal postcards or unique gifts for your clients. How cool is that?! Imagine being not only brilliant at what you do, but adding that extra, heartfelt, creative touch. It’s all about those small, unforgettable details.

I wish every creative person in the world would stop limiting themselves with the old idea of “digital isn’t real art.” Seriously? Tell that to David Hockney and his legendary iPad exhibition at the Royal College of Art (yes, I mention him a lot because he’s my absolute favorite - proof that the tool doesn’t matter, it’s YOUR VOICE that counts).

And on a personal note - I just ordered the first printed versions of my still life collection, inspired by my family living far away. It’s not “just a digital drawing,” it’s a real, meaningful connection on paper.

So this is your sign: fall in love with your iPad and your creative flow. Let’s bring your ideas to life TOGETHER - inside my drawing classes, my 5-day bootcamp, or the full drawing course. Your invite is below ;)

Now, I’m off to the mountains again this Friday… and yes, OF COURSE, I’ll be sketching there too :D

Happy creating from my desk to yours!
