We’ve come a long way from the days when creativity felt isolated, like we were all a bit misunderstood. When I started my interior design studies 8 years ago, I brought my sketching skills and a passion for design, ready to combine the two. But I quickly realized that flat, computer-generated renderings just weren’t my style. So, I made a bold decision: I replaced them with my hand sketches. (Minimalistic CAD floor plans stayed in my process since they align with my aesthetic vision, of course.)

This bold step taught me that showing up, being unafraid to stand out, and merging what you love with what the world needs is the path to success. In the And She Draws Big community, big (and sometimes seemingly unrealistic) goals are a MUST. But we have the secret sauce to achieve them 😉

The amazing thing about being able to draw is that when others see you doing it, you’re instantly viewed as an expert in your field. People are impressed, ask for advice, and remember you as “THAT creative who can draw any idea.” Who wouldn’t want to be remembered like that? 😍
