Art x Technology: Where New Opportunities Begin

Let’s start this new week with a truly innovative, insightful, and useful (and of course, inspiring - otherwise it might sound too average! :D) way to share our ideas with the world, showing that we’re staying on top of new technologies and adapting faster than anyone else.

I’m sure you’ve noticed the RAPID changes happening not only in the creative industry but across so many others too - new job positions appear, others become irrelevant, the market feels unpredictable, and new AI tools seem to launch almost daily.

First and foremost - and this isn’t about a specific technique - we need to stop trying to control the world around us and find our stability within. You probably already know this, and so do I, but still, why is it so hard sometimes to let go of anxiety and stop trying to predict every outcome and tool that will appear next?

The past and future don't exist. This exact moment, right now as you’re reading this, is the only one that truly matters.

So does that mean we should just sit back and let life - and all the changes happening around us - happen to us?

Not quite.

Because this is where being informed, taking action, and staying true to yourself comes into play.

Below, I’ll show you a few examples of merging AI, digital drawing, and artistic skills:
Yesterday (on Sunday!), I created a hand-drawn collage using gouache and crayons - based on the same moodboard I designed earlier on my iPad.

And where did the initial idea come from?
ATTENTION: It sparked while I was generating hundreds of images with AI for my work!

BUT - the composition and furniture details were still the result of my own design, not just a generic AI image.

And the art prints on the left were once just iPad sketches inspired by my mom’s flower garden - a special collection symbolizing my family, living in different countries.

The 3 steps:

➔ AI Inspiration: to help get unstuck and find the project’s direction.

➔ iPad Design and Drawing: flexible playground for your ideas - bringing structure to the creative mess.

➔ Final Artwork: (paper, iPad, canvas - your choice).

About my art collection:

Would I have had the same freedom if I stuck to just one medium, thinking,
"This isn’t real art" or "AI will replace artists, so I won’t use it"?

NO WAY.

By avoiding what’s emerging, you stay behind those who use it - and miss TONS of opportunities.

AI isn’t going anywhere. The choice is ours: adapt or be left behind.

I choose innovation. Always.

Because freedom is the most important thing for my work -
freedom to test, freedom to create, and freedom to share it all with the world.
