The Power of Being YOU

Jun 14, 2024

Today, let's tackle an important topic - is it worth starting something new nowadays? Whether it's a new business, a new Instagram or TikTok account, or a career change. I receive this question almost daily, and a recent poll on my Instagram page showed that 65% of participants believe it's too late to pursue their dreams.

So, is the market oversaturated with no room for newcomers? Before delving deeper into this topic, I'd like to ask you to honestly answer this question for yourself. Really, as honestly as you can.

YES, the market is brimming with millions of fantastic experts from various fields, making it more competitive than ever. However, this is actually the best time to stand out by being unique, hard-working, and consistent. Why? Because amidst the saturation, people are easily distracted by short-form content and quick results. Understanding and embracing this can be advantageous - you can strive for excellence while others settle for mediocrity by merely showcasing their expertise.

👉 What does that mean? Isn't it a good thing? Nowadays, it's not just about sharing content for the sake of it. Each post should meet specific criteria: have a clear goal for your audience, share content through the lens of your story and life events, incorporate diverse types of content, and ensure it's engaging and informative. Yes, you're already familiar with this from my previous newsletter.

Today, standing out is easier because no one can replicate YOU. While I used to be bothered by people copying my content and style, I've come to realize that my authenticity - my style, aesthetic, and story - cannot be duplicated. Inauthenticity and copying eventually reveal themselves, resonating less with educated audiences. Short-term gains through imitation aren't sustainable for long-term success.

>> Today, authenticity, personal perspective, and vulnerability are key. Despite the market being saturated with similar professionals, remember: no one is YOU.

On this topic, I MUST share one of the most motivating feedbacks I've received regarding my approach to personal branding, closely tied to today's newsletter 🥹

THE #1 sales and marketing guru, Ryan Serhant, commented during a recent call with PRO members of SellIT, of which I’m currently part, on my high-level marketing approach, which is hard to reach, showing the importance of my commitment to being known not just for designs and drawings, but for my personality 🥹🥹
Since my interactions with Ryan, I've been perceived not merely for my drawings, but as a comprehensive brand involved in high-end projects. Read more about building a personal brand [here].

As they say, "no one is you, and that is your power."
