Take Care of Work

Let me start this newsletter with words that have become my mantra in business: "Take care of work and the work will take care of you." These aren’t my words but those of Ryan Serhant, whose live book signing session on personal branding I attended in New York. So, why am I focusing on a topic not directly related to drawing and interior design?
I strongly believe that our surroundings and the people around us play a huge role - more than 50 percent - in our success. Yes, our mindset and inner work matter a lot, but if your surroundings drag you down and don’t support your goals and mindset, keeping them around won't favor your success in business.
The good news is that we can change our surroundings at any point in our lives. We didn’t choose our place of birth, family, or upbringing, but we do choose our career path, friends, partners, and colleagues.
Isn’t that exciting?!
We can change the direction of our lives right now, at this very moment.
There are people out there who will help you grow and boost your career.
👉 What’s needed is decision-making: stepping out of your comfort zone, doing things you’ve been avoiding because they’re uncomfortable (shoutout to my 100,000 attempts at waking up at 5 a.m., but I’m not giving up yet), believing that your life is about to change, and taking big risks!
I just made a decision I’ve been contemplating for months. I became a PRO member of a business community that was named the #1 business community 🥹 I now finally have the mentor I’ve dreamed of working with for years!
After making that decision, I immediately felt an indescribable amount of power and belief in myself, not to mention the incredibly warm welcome from the entire team. The power of having a strong community and mentor behind you is priceless.
With this newsletter, I just wanted to remind you that no matter what circumstances you’re currently in, you have the power to change them. There are people out there who’ll help you.
Everything is possible as long as you stay active and take care of work.
