Quick Design Tips to Boost Your Projects
Dec 08, 2024I’m writing to you today to share two quick design techniques on the iPad for your projects, whether for your clients or your home. These techniques are excellent when you need to communicate your ideas under a tight deadline or even live, while visiting a construction site. This is NOT the time or environment for complex 3D renders, whether on the iPad or computer.
In fact, I just finished developing a brand new design, all in the Procreate app - the app I use for all my work, including illustrations, interior design, and even marketing and social media. But that’s a topic for another newsletter! :D
Let’s dive in: my brand new project - a kitchen redesign ↓
Technique used: Integrated furniture + hand-drawn elements, making the final image look like an illustration but much faster and more effective.

Technique No. 2: Fully integrated. You take a picture of the space that needs to be redesigned, then one by one, add important decor and furniture pieces to test various ideas. It’s similar to Photoshop but much more intuitive, working with drag-and-drop logic.
But just look at the result! A new idea is clearly recognizable, and I can even continue testing it because the effective use of layers allows me to do so.
š Now, I know you want to learn this technique too - and you should! This is such an inspiring design approach that helps develop your creativity while you “feel” your design directly. This is how I design my homes before bringing the ideas to life in real life or working with an interior designer to further develop my initial concept.
1ļøā£ The quick tutorial on designing a balcony using the integrated technique is waiting for you at the end of the drawing webinar HERE (it’s free).
2ļøā£ If you want to fast-track your digital design and drawing skills and master EVERY aspect of drawing interiors, then my signature course with lifetime access to the lessons is absolutely right for you.
Digital drawing opens up so many incredible opportunities - speaking from my own experience. Not only for your design concepts but also for networking, career growth, and an innovative approach for clients (when we turn AI into our partner and NOT our enemy).
ā¼ļø By the way, addressing the question of whether AI is going to replace us: Yes, it will - but only by experts who use AI, not solely by AI itself.
Your creativity, unique vision, and years (or even decades) of experience are IMPOSSIBLE to replace. And so says the study below!
So, let’s save our precious energy for our projects and success, rather than worrying about what the future holds. Fear is about the future, and we live in the now, so let’s use every single day to bring us closer to our goals. And yes, OF COURSE, you’ll get access to the AI tutorials too in my course HERE.
Speaking of big goals… I’m doing it too. I’m stepping outside my comfort zone and working toward fulfilling another big goal, being 1000% sure it will work. Yes, I have a job, but now, instead of spending my evenings with Netflix, I work on my goals. As the host of my favorite podcast always says, "Life is either easy now or hard later, OR hard now and easy later." So, let’s make the hard part as enjoyable and insightful as possible, because the journey is what matters.
Tomorrow, our Big Success Challenge takes place with my students at the Academy, where we’ll be meeting every single day to fast-track the foundation for our big goals in 2025. What we’ll be doing: This isn’t just about drawing - it’s about stepping into your boldest self, setting powerful goals, and building habits that align with your dreams. You’ll have accountability partners and our incredible community cheering you on every step of the way and supporting you through challenges - because there WILL be challenges, as always, on the way to greatness.
