From Scroll to Sale: Instagram power

This week’s newsletter is inspired by your requests for advice on using social media in the most productive way possible, particularly Instagram.

I'll say this right from the beginning: social media is your business partner. Change your mindset from being a consumer to a creator. It’s not just a place to consume content or complain about time management like “I don’t have time to film a short video today” (though we all find time for that cute cat video, right?). From today on, think of social media as free advertising where your services can reach MILLIONS, bringing in extra revenue without spending a dime.

Now, on to the actual tips for working with social media, which I also practice in my business:

1️⃣ First, repurpose Your Content. Don’t create unique posts for every platform. Pick one topic and tweak it for different channels. For instance, this newsletter will also turn into a YouTube video, a reel for Instagram, a post on TikTok, and probably even more. Work smarter, not harder.

2️⃣ Designers and artists, don’t limit one project to a single video. Repurpose it! You can create standard posts, videos, flatlays, before-after processes, talking heads, carousels, and more from a single project.

3️⃣ Document your journey. Instead of forcing yourself to create something from scratch, document what you already do. This is a concept I learned from Kat, one of my mentors in the entrepreneurial PRO mentorship I’m currently participating in. Yes, I continue my education with online programs and learn from the best experts. Here’s the podcast on this topic.

4️⃣ Avoid templates. They can make your page look generic. Share your story, your wins, and struggles. Connect with your audience genuinely. No one can copy you.

5️⃣ Lastly, consistency is key. I know you’ve heard it tons of times, but are you implementing it? Write down your ideas, plan your content, and keep it visible. I use paper calendars, not digital ones, as I already spend too much time on my phone.
