Clear structure is everything

The topic was inspired by my own experience of learning a new skill with other creatives. I’ve learned so much there but not it terms that you’re now probably thinking. It was a sad experience in terms of the program itself and a positive for my own insights.

This month, I’ve finally started my journey with AI - artificial intelligence. In order to gain the best (and speedy) results possible, I always choose learning with a mentor and with their mentorships or courses. This time wasn’t an exception.

At the beginning of my journey I was really enthusiastic because I saw how impressive the results are and how powerful this tool is for business.

My initial enthusiasm faded away in the first week of my studies. Not because I didn’t like it, no way, but because of the lack of clear structure, understandable learning platform and teaching skills of the creator 🫠

❌ So chaotic! There’s no better word to describe this way of teaching. Along with the complicated learning platform, it killed my initial initial excitement and motivation, both of which are crucial when it comes to learning a new skill.

Why am I telling you this? Well, the answer is super simple:

By surrounding yourself with supportive structure for your learning process, teacher’s enthusiasm and clear step-by-step instructions without having to guess or lose energy by searching things by yourself, you are boosting your learning process 1000x.

During my enrollment there I couldn’t help but think about my own program, and how easy accessible, stylish and productive it is 🌟

I don’t want my students to feel the way I do every time I have to do a new lesson from that so-called course.

I had a similar experience with my English communication skills. Before having found my current mentor, I was learning with another teacher who didn’t spark the lessons at all. I couldn’t wait till the lesson ended. Well, it goes without saying that I was seeing 0 progress even though I had been learning English for so many years. 

With the new mentor, in less than 1 year I was able to break my barrier and finally start being who I am, express my ideas, and share my thoughts with the whole world.

Yes, your motivation and hard work matter but without the right structure, you won’t reach your full potential.

P.S. Wish me luck with that AI course 🤞That’s actually sad how the wrong approach can kill sparkle and enthusiasm in the eyes of the student!
